About the Role
We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with strong hands-on experience in .NET MAUI and Bluetooth API integration to build modern, cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS. This role focuses on delivering seamless Bluetooth communication with external devices while creating intuitive, high-performance mobile user interfaces.
You will work closely with product, QA, and engineering teams to design and develop robust mobile solutions that are responsive, secure, and user-friendly.
Primary Skills & Technical Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with .NET MAUI (or Xamarin with proven migration experience to MAUI)
Proficiency in C#, .NET 7+, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and modern design patterns
Experience working with Bluetooth APIs on Android and iOS
In-depth knowledge of mobile application lifecycle, permission handling, and platform-specific services
Experience building, testing, and publishing apps for Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS
Hands-on experience with RESTful API integration
Familiarity with SQLite or other local storage mechanisms
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles with the ability to create responsive and adaptive UIs
Proficiency with Visual Studio, Git, emulators, and debugging tools
Experience with unit testing in mobile applications
Nice to Have
Experience with background services, push notifications, or audio streaming over Bluetooth
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile application delivery
Knowledge of security protocols and secure data exchange over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI for Android and iOS
Implement and integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and services
Develop and manage Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) functionality including device discovery, pairing, connection, and data exchange
Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using XAML and platform-specific capabilities where required
Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
Ensure optimal performance, battery efficiency, and proper permission handling
Write clean, modular, and testable code following MVVM architecture and best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues reported by users or testers
Optimize application performance and memory usage across supported platforms
