Job Description – Business Central (Technical) A leading rubber manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Mumbai is seeking a technically proficient Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) Specialist to support, enhance, and customize its core ERP platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AL programming and SQL database management, with the ability to modify extensions, workflows, and reports as per business requirements.Key Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and enhance the Business Central environment as per company requirements. Develop, modify, and deploy extensions/customizations using AL language in Visual Studio Code. Write and optimize SQL queries, manage data migration, and create efficient database structures. Collaborate with internal departments to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform code changes, page/report modifications, and update existing flows or triggers. Integrate Business Central with third-party systems and manufacturing tools as needed. Manage version upgrades, testing, and deployment of new functionalities. Troubleshoot technical issues related to AL extensions, integrations, and data inconsistencies. Coordinate with the ERP vendor for advanced developments or escalations. Develop custom reports, dashboards, and Power BI integrations when required. Ensure data integrity, system performance, and compliance with company IT policies. Conduct training sessions for users to improve ERP adoption and understanding. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 4-5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV technical development. Proficiency in AL language and Business Central extension development. Strong understanding of SQL Server, database structures, and stored procedures. Familiarity with Business Central API, web services, and integration methods.
