Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, Python, HTML, React JS. Proficiency with Linux commands and utilities including Bash scripting. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills that enable you to tackle and resolve sophisticated issues. Good communication and teamwork skills that enable you to work well with developers, team members, and users. Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends that help you improve your skills and knowledge. Creativity and innovation in creating solutions that meet user needs and expectations and deliver value to the business. Education Qualification: Degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. A Plus Knowledge of Equities trading Experience with real-time, high-throughput applications. Understanding of data lakes and data-warehousing. Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka, relational database. Build tools: Maven and Git. Java Frameworks (Keycloak, OpenSearch). JSON, RESTful web-services and Microservices. About the job As a Senior Business Analyst, your focus will be Analyzing the regulatory space, developing the Product Specifications and assist Development and Quality Assurance teams in implementing and testing of the software solution. Your primary responsibilities will be: Engage in research on various regulatory change logic, owning the analysis and implementation of them into the solution. Write solution specifications including Business Requirements and Functional Specifications for the solution development team. Perform detailed analysis of various jurisdictional regulations, received either through AoSphere or directly from regulators. Regularly monitor regulatory rule updates, ensuring solution remains fit-for-purpose with all regulatory requirements. Navigate our Controller View platform to better understand the implementation of the regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions. Liaise with the development team, providing business knowledge to ensure business requirements are clearly understood.
