Senior Engineer Manual Testing

Role

● Define test strategy, test suites, test cases as well as design tools for manual testing

● Work with development and product teams to understand application workflows and determine best

approaches for test data identification. Provide test data management strategies & tools, and test

environment management.

● Help ensure your vertical's releases adhere to deadlines while not compromising on quality

● Be a reliable, friendly source of feedback on new functionality, features, and process changes

● Continuously look for ways to improve testing coverage and testing efficiency.

● Contribute to end-to-end user acceptance tests.

● Ready to play different roles as needed by the testing team.

Requirement

● 4-6 years of manual software testing experience.

● Thorough knowledge of structured test methods, procedures and processes in Software Testing

with awareness of Agile Software Development Lifecycle.

● Ability to create test cases, test plans, use cases, Requirement traceability matrix & defect reports.

● Strong attention to detail

● Good verbal and written communication skills, strong documentation skills

● Strong analytical, mathematical, logical, and problem-solving skills

● Ability to understand business requirements and take ownership of the product.

● Good knowledge on API testing and API workflows.

● Ability to validate data. Write and execute SQL queries as required.

● Experience in a programming language is a big plus.
