**Microsoft Data Center Technician (DCT)**
As a Microsoft Data Center Technician (DCT), you will develop skills in preparing, installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing, and decommissioning data center equipment under the guidance of experienced technicians. You will gain hands-on experience in Microsoft’s data center environment while learning security, safety, and data management procedures that support career growth.

**Key Responsibilities**
* Track and escalate issues while seeking guidance to ensure timely resolution.
* Participate in safety briefings, complete required training, and follow safety procedures related to equipment handling, lifting, electrical hazards, and ladder use.
* Complete assigned tickets efficiently while meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Follow security and data management policies and complete required security training.
* Maintain a customer-focused approach by understanding the impact of work performed.
* Contribute to a positive team environment through collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing.
* Demonstrate accountability, ownership, and pride in maintaining data center service quality.
* Embody Microsoft’s culture and values of respect, integrity, accountability, and inclusion.
**Required Qualifications**
* High school diploma, GED, vocational qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience.
* Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components.
* Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check requirements upon hire and every two years thereafter.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 1+ year of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
* Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Server+, Network+, or Basic Structured Cabling (BSC).
