Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Global management and development of the product and service portfolio for Off-Road vehicles (focus on tractors & agricultural machinery)
  • Observation and analysis of international markets and competition as a basis for the strategic positioning of the portfolio
  • Operational implementation of the positioning by elaboration of sales development targets, price positioning, investments in tools, business case calculations, make-or-buy decisions, supplier strategies, inventory and supply planning to ensure delivery performance, content for marketing campaigns, trainings and activities in the sales channels
  • Initiation of, collaboration in and leadership of strategic projects, e.g. definition and introduction of entirely new products
  • Research of part-to-vehicle data and its implementation into the global product and service platform system. Derivation of new product development requests and their coordination until SOP.
  • Business segment analysis including preparation of key figures, reports and presentations
  • Global cross-sectional coordination and management of central and regional functions within the scope of the above activities
  • Communication with all internally related interfaces within the Schaeffler Group as well as externally with customers, service providers and suppliers

Your Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in engineering, business administration or comparable
  • Experience in the commercial vehicle environment or B2B industries desirable
  • Technical product knowledge as well as know-how in supply chain management, sales and project management an advantage
  • Very good MS Office and basic SAP skills
  • Fluent English for daily work in an international environment
  • Limited willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as assertiveness and conflict resolution skills
  • Independent and self-reliant way of working as well as interest in a wide range of tasks
