Job Description:

• Perform day-to-day settlement operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution of daily payments. Execute daily/weekly/monthly treasury, settlement and reconciliation activities that are allocated by Manager.

• Perform the weekend settlement process basis rostering schedule. This role is part of global Settlement Operations team that requires individuals to work on weekends basis rotational shifts that are rostered by Manager / Director – Settlement Operations.

• Own timely remediation of operational issues in accordance with established SLA’s or business guidelines and escalating as appropriate. Collaborate with Settlement teams (including Payments Assurance and Global Settlements and Reconciliation Support teams) and settlement bank partners to troubleshoot and resolve settlement issues in a timely manner.

• Participate in the training of treasury, settlement and reconciliation activities to meet cross training and business continuity requirements.

• Assist with the successful onboarding of new customers and processes into the team where required.

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiencies where required.

This role is part of a team that starts working at early-morning India time driven by business requirements of settlements for far-east Asia markets, including Australia and NZ. This role would require incumbent who is flexible and prompt to start working at India early-morning hours/ Far East Asia hours/shift aligned to support the team and market operations in Asia Pacific markets, including Australia, NZ and Japan, as per business requirements and priorities.

• Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or Management Information Systems; Professional qualifications like CTP, CFP preferred.

• Medium to high degree of expertise in Treasury settlements / payment operations / reconciliations and banking gained through experiences in multinational corporates’ Regional/Global Treasury centres, financial institutions or banks.

• Experience working in a time-sensitive environment. Must enjoy daily critical operations in payments domain with non-negotiable banking cut-offs.Exposure to finance industry tools and electronic banking systems is advantageous.

• Position requires individual with flexibility and professional maturity to support the business needs of a global organization with critical 24/7 operations.
