Job Title: Product Information Management (PIM) Specialist – Syndigo Preferred
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
About the Role: We are looking for a PIM Specialist to manage and optimize our Product Information Management (PIM) system, ensuring consistent, complete, and accurate product data across all channels. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Syndigo PIM (or other leading PIM tools) and a strong understanding of product data governance, taxonomy, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and govern product data within the PIM system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company standards.
• Coordinate with Product Managers to collect, validate, and update product information for new and existing SKUs.
• Standardize product attributes, taxonomy, and data models across all product categories.
• Manage new product onboarding workflows — define, document, and improve data flow from creation to publication.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams (Product, Marketing, Design, Supply Chain, eCommerce) to ensure all necessary attributes and media assets are captured and up to date.
• Ensure data consistency across channels (ERP, DAM, eCommerce, marketplaces, etc.) through PIM integration workflows.
• Monitor data quality and perform regular audits to identify and fix gaps, duplicates, or incorrect information.
• Work with Syndigo (or other PIM platform vendors) on technical issues, enhancements, and process optimization.
• Develop and maintain documentation for attribute definitions, product hierarchy, and PIM operational workflows.
• Support analytics and reporting on product completeness, enrichment progress, and data health KPIs.
Qualifications & Skills
• 2–4 years of experience working in a Product Information Management (PIM) environment.
• Experience with Syndigo PIM highly preferred (other PIM tools such as Salsify, Akeneo, Informatica, or Stibo are a plus).
• Strong understanding of product taxonomy, data modeling, and attribute management.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple product data workflows simultaneously.
• Familiarity with ERP/eCommerce systems (e.g., NetSuite, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and data integration flows.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience in handling large datasets.
