Job Requirements

Broad and extensive knowledge of:

Static Equipment Industry design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria, including ASME Code Section VIII, Divisions 1 and 2, API 510, API 650, API 620, API 653, API 660, API 661, EN 14015

Knowledgeable of mechanical properties and degradation mechanisms for common materials of construction such as carbon steel, low chrome and nickel alloy steels, austenitic stainless steel, duplex and super duplex stainless steels, and nickel-based alloys such as Inconel.

Design, fabrication & construction experience in:

Atmospheric, pressurized storage tanks and spheres; external, internal floating roofs and geodesic dome roofs; cold & cryogenic tanks

Pressure vessels, process columns, reactor, and heat exchangers

Vessel, heat exchanger and storage tank analysis programs such as PV Elite, Compress, Tank, AME Tank etc.

Familiarity with pressure equipment rerate and repair assessments per API 510 and NBIC.

Onshore and offshore facilities design; along with direct experience working onsite in oil & gas facilities.

Participated in Layout Model Reviews, Hazard Identification Study (HAZID), design reviews, risk assessments, Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOPs), vendor qualification, and vendor bid evaluations as requested. Experience in coordinating & leading these reviews.

Tangible breadth of experience in multiple technical disciplines, in addition to depth of knowledge in Mechanical/Static Equipment.

Strong organizational, management, and technical judgment skills.

Good understanding of Project Life cycle and department interfaces.

Good understanding of Plant Operations priorities

Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.

Demonstrated ability to interface with engineering disciplines, such as Process, Rotating Equipment, Materials, etc.

Demonstrated ability to understand and support client needs.

Multiple prior assignments that provide a variety of exposure to global oil & gas operations.

Work Experience

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree from recognized university with minimum GPA 6.0 or above.

Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.

Willing and able to travel as required, both domestic and international.

Experience in live Plant Operations .
