Key Responsibilities
The AI Content Expert II will create and annotate high-quality training datasets across text, image, and video modalities on a wide range of topics, including technical and scientific themes. Work includes writing clear, grammatically correct content in different styles while following strict guidelines. The role requires conducting audits and quality checks of tasks completed by other specialists, making logical decisions when facing incomplete or ambiguous information, identifying issues, proposing solutions, and reporting tooling bugs or areas for improvement.
Daily Activities
The role functions similarly to that of a Machine Learning Data Associate, performing foundational labeling tasks such as dialogue evaluation across speech, text, audio, and video data. High concentration, multitasking ability, attention to detail, and strict confidentiality are essential. Team members contribute to generative AI innovations with creativity, curiosity, and a strong individual drive.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and have at least 2 years of experience working with written language data, including annotation and markup. A strong understanding of U.S. culture is required, along with strong research abilities and familiarity with academic integrity. The role demands excellent attention to detail, the ability to focus for extended periods, comfort with high-school–level STEM concepts, and the capability to write and evaluate content across diverse domains. Adaptability to different writing styles and fast-paced environments is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates demonstrate C1-level English proficiency and experience creating complex datasets for LLM training. Additional advantages include experience with UNIX command line tools, markup languages (HTML, XML, Markdown), standard text formats (JSON, CSV, RTF), and scripting languages such as Python. Familiarity with regular expressions, LLMs, and handling sensitive annotation content is also beneficial.
