Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and high-performing Sales Manager to lead customer acquisition efforts in the US and European markets.
The role requires strong experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably with exposure to financial reporting, regulatory compliance, ESG, XBRL/iXBRL, or disclosure management products.
Key Responsibilities
Market-Specific Sales (US & Europe)
Identify, prospect, and engage US SEC filers and EU/UK ESEF filers.
Understand and articulate IRIS CARBON®’s value in both regulatory environments:
US Market: SEC filing process, 10-K/10-Q, iXBRL, US GAAP, EDGAR requirements.
European Market: ESMA ESEF mandate, iXBRL reporting, IFRS, UK Companies House, CSRD/ESG requirements.
Tailor product demonstrations based on region-specific compliance workflows.
Sales Cycle Ownership
Drive the complete sales lifecycle—outbound prospecting, demos, scoping, pricing, proposals, negotiation, and closure
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot).
Deliver accurate sales forecasts aligned to regional market cycles.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Engage with senior stakeholders: CFOs, Finance Directors, Chief Compliance Officers.
Understand customer challenges and provide consultative, solution-oriented selling.
Coordinate with product, implementation, and customer success teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Stay Updated With Regulatory Changes Across
SEC (US)
ESMA, ESEF, IFRS, CSRD/ESRS (EU/UK)
Analyze competitor activities and provide strategic inputs to product and leadership teams.
Participate in relevant global conferences/webinars (NIRI, FEI, XBRL Europe, industry events).
Required Skills & Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in B2B SaaS / RegTech / FinTech sales.
Proven experience selling to global markets, especially in the US and Europe.
Experience engaging with finance and compliance stakeholders in enterprise organizations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work flexible hours to align with US and EU time zones.
CRM expertise (HubSpot/Salesforce).
