Key Responsibilities (List major responsibilities, that you have, to achieve the key objectives) • Execute procurement of raw materials, bought-out components, consumables, and services as per requisitions from production, projects, and maintenance teams. • Float inquiries, evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery. • Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials. • Identify and develop new vendors for critical items, ensuring multiple sources for key materials. • Conduct vendor evaluations, audits, and performance reviews. • Maintain vendor master database and develop long-term relationships. • Negotiate pricing and payment terms to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality. • Support Make vs Buy analysis when required • Coordinate with production, planning, design, and stores to ensure material availability and avoid production delays. • Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery and communicate status updates to relevant teams. • Ensure all purchase documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies. • Maintain records of PO, quotations, price history, and delivery confirmations. • Support audits and provide necessary procurement documentation. • Enter all purchase-related data in ERP/SAP system and ensure real-time updating. • Generate and analyze purchase-related MIS reports.
