Job Description:

An account manager's role is to ensure brand success on key partner channels like Nykaa, Purplle, Amazon, and others at the brand level. We are looking for a candidate with retail planning/ category brand management background & strong data analytical skills.

Responsibilities :

- Expand the relationships with existing channel partners / retail channels

- Achieve/exceed target KPIs, including Sales%, Orders %, monthly Application usage, and Non-Performing Brands/Channels

- Understanding the brand proposition, negotiating with channels on commercial agreements and setting proper expectations

- Overseeing the onboarding process (including listing) for new brands on to the platform and working with various stakeholders inside and outside for quick turnaround

- Building strong communication channels at all levels of the brand organization to strengthen relationships, successfully execute initiatives, and drive growth

- Being hands-on with data, create dashboards and reports to share with brands you manage on the platform

- Working with the channel's as well as internal marketing team to strategize and execute new and relevant marketing campaigns and promotion plans to drive brand visibility, traffic and transactions

- Identifying opportunities to deepen the relationship with the partner organization; expanding the product and brand portfolio

- Maintaining a broad understanding of the brands P&L, revenue targets and gross margins and using it for better decision-making

- Staying updated on retail and digital trends.

Requirements :

- Self-driven individual who takes the initiative and complete ownership of their work

- A decent understanding and/or a strong interest in the Retail/e-Commerce sector, brand awareness, and retail trends

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills

- Good negotiation skills

- Excellent time and task management skills

- Understanding of brand growth drivers

- Basic digital marketing understanding

- A customer-centric, creative, and analytical problem-solving mindset

- Advanced data handling/Excel skills and a keen eye for detail

- Taking full accountability for the brand P&L and ensuring great performance and growth

Important Note : Please note that this is an individual contributor role. We are a small team with a flat hierarchy, so please do not expect people to report to you or any support staff. We all tend to own our responsibility areas and complete the end-to-end tasks required for our roles.
