Job Title: Senior Software Architect, KCS

Location: Mumbai

Job Responsibilities:

Understand the current architecture and software written in VB.net and MSSQL.

Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including solution architects, Operations, and Database teams of the client.

Create a new architectural plan and present it to stakeholders for approval.

Design and implement a modern technology stack based on .NET Core, MSSQL, and other suitable database architecture.

Develop prototypes for microservices, backend OLTP, and OLAP databases.

Create a new logging and event sourcing infrastructure.

Provide hands-on coding expertise and lead by example.

Train junior developers and foster a collaborative team environment.

Build a strong team of developers.

Job Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Software Architect, with a track record in modernizing legacy systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Proven experience as a Software Architect, with a track record in modernizing legacy systems.

Strong persuasive skills, able to understand and respect others' perspectives while advocating for architectural decisions.

In-depth knowledge of .NET stack and MSSQL with strong hands on experience

Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies

Experience in designing and implementing logging and event sourcing systems.

Experience in optimising for delivering scalable systems with high performance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and build a strong team.

Previous experience in modern financial technologies is a strong advantage.
