The Social Media Intern will work closely with the marketing and social media teams to help plan and execute social media campaigns across various platforms. The intern will be responsible for creating and curating content for social media channels, analyzing metrics, and engaging with followers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of social media content including posts, graphics, videos, and stories
• Manage and update social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other platforms as needed
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on social media trends, best practices, and new platforms
• Help develop and implement social media campaigns to drive engagement and reach
• Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
• Monitor social media metrics and provide regular reports on engagement, reach, and other key performance indicators
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all social media channels
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative content ideas and marketing strategies
• Assist with ad campaigns and promotions as needed

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms and tools such as Hootsuite, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of social media best practices and trends
• Creative thinking and ability to generate new ideas
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
