Job Role: Area Sales Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
● To drive sales performance by displacing incumbent platforms and capturing white space
opportunities across four market segments in Higher-ed, Colleges, and Educational institutes.
● Manage and nurture the relationship with the client during all phases of the sales cycle
● Build strong relationships with prospects, existing clients, and internal stakeholders to grow
new business
● Work collaboratively with marketing teams & other internal teams to develop and execute
sales & marketing campaigns
● Provide consultative solutions options and showcase product demos to our potential clients
● College and Universities New Customer Acquisition, Achieving the revenue target Q by Q
defined by the HOD.
● Evolve market research and segmentation strategy and develop new channels.
● Create and implement strategies and plans for lead generation.
● Gate Crash/Cold call-Inbound or F2F- 100-150 universities and colleges with overall 50000+
students per quarter.
● Signup 1 partnerships with leading distributors/resellers per member of the team
● F2F meets with each high-value customer once per month
● Attending product review meetings monthly and discussing key customer challenges.
● Obtain one positive testimonial or reference per quarter.
Requirements
● Graduate/Postgraduate from Tier 1 College with 5+ years of Business Development
experience in the Edtech domain.
● MBA preferred
● Strong selling skills as well as demonstrated success in stabilising and developing client
relationships.
● High level of self-confidence, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear
focus on high quality and business profit.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
● A natural forward planner who critically assesses his own performance
● Any SaaS product on-field sales experience mainly dealt with institutes, universities, etc.
