Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Delivers tasks and develops effective solutions for product features or engineering challenges
- Independently owns the development of a feature, including the ability to identify, define, and scope problems.
- Writes clear, well separated code that reflects coding guidelines and conventions, and can be easily understood by others.
- Proactively tests their work appropriately.
- Provides clear and actionable technical feedback on pull requests. Aligns with our engineering principles when giving feedback on other’s code.
- Documentation for new and existing features or projects.
- Makes consistent contributions as a release owner.
Qualifications and skills
- 5+ years of programming and / or platform & systems engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Eagerness to learn and a passion for full-stack web development.
- MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js, JavaScript/Typescript, Microservices, RESTful APIs, Apigee Gateway, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, Confluence
- Experience working with a component library (Tailwind, Shadcn UI or similar)
- Experience project planning in an Agile environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred
- MS/MBA Degree
- Experience with headless CMS i.e. Contentful
- Experience with component-based design systems & design tokens
- Functional & technical expert with deep domain & engineering expertise and experience, relevant to Haleon's scale and complexity.
