We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to lead client engagement for our AI-driven construction software services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction and real estate ecosystem, combined with a proven track record in selling technology solutions. This role requires building strategic relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, and project management firms, while driving adoption of cutting-edge AI solutions that optimize construction project management, cost control, and operational efficiency
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive new business opportunities and achieve revenue targets for AI-based construction software services
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and partnerships
- Identify and engage with key stakeholders such as developers, contractors, consultants, and corporate occupiers
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to highlight value propositions
- Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business
- Research and map target markets, industry trends, and competitor offerings
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and technical teams to tailor solutions to client needs
- Provide feedback from clients and market insights to support product enhancements
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies and sales campaign
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; MBA preferred
- 4-6 years in business development / sales within construction technology, SaaS, project management solutions, or enterprise software
- Familiarity with construction lifecycle, project management processes, BIM, cost management, and digital transformation in construction.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to conduct product demonstrations and workshops
- Technical aptitude to quickly learn and articulate AI-based solutions
