About the Role

Under the guidance of the Manager, the candidate will be accountable for the on-time delivery of equipment, materials, and documentation within the OM/E budget, ensuring conformity to purchase order specifications. The role focuses on expediting and managing suppliers of static, fired, rotating, E&I equipment, and bulk materials, ensuring timely deliveries and monitoring adherence to project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, track, and manage the receipt of critical documents from suppliers, including organization charts, progress reports, fabrication schedules, and prefabrication material overviews.

Conduct shop visits to supplier facilities to audit manufacturing status, compile visit reports, minutes of meetings, and monthly expediting reports. Highlight delays and reinforce expediting efforts.

Proactively oversee supplier activities across design development, material procurement, manufacturing, testing, and shipping preparation; review progress reports and fabrication schedules.

Identify potential delays or delivery issues, initiate corrective actions, and collect recovery plans from suppliers. Maintain up-to-date tracking data in project management tools.

Collect relevant information for each purchase order, maintain a claim dossier, and support claim negotiations with suppliers

Coordinate with project and technical teams to expedite technical and procurement tasks from purchase order placement to final documentation review and approval.

Ensure proper order closeout, contribute to back charges related to cost deficiencies, and support claims management.

Differentiating Criteria

Knowledge of transportation, customs, and import/export rules (general understanding, not specialized).

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.

Training in Quality Systems (ISO).

3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations.
