Job Description:
Role Overview:
The Senior Manager – Marketing & Sponsorships will drive brand and cause marketing initiatives, manage partnerships and sponsorships, and oversee fundraising, community outreach, and event management. The role involves strategic planning, execution, and analysis to strengthen the organization’s visibility and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing, Partnerships & Sponsorships
Develop and execute annual brand/cause marketing and sponsorship plans.
Create sponsorship/support materials and ensure fulfillment of sponsor benefits, including campaign collateral
Engage proactively with current sponsors and identify new sponsorship opportunities aligned with marketing objectives.
Develop and pitch sponsorship proposals, negotiate agreements, and manage terms, benefits, and financial arrangements.
Build and maintain strong sponsor relationships, serving as the primary point of contact.
Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sponsorships into campaigns and cause marketing initiatives.
Fundraising, Community Outreach & Events:
Plan and execute events aligned with the strategic fundraising plan.
Lead end-to-end event preparation and execution, including logistics and marketing collateral.
Design promotional materials to support events and campaigns.
Tracking & Analysis:
Analyze brand visibility, engagement, and sponsorship ROI; prepare regular performance reports.
Conduct brand research and provide actionable insights to improve reach, engagement, and impact.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or MBA in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Minimum 7+ years of managerial experience in marketing, cause marketing, sponsorship management, sales, and event management.
Strong project management and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Creative and strategic thinker capable of developing innovative marketing ideas.
Skills & Competencies:
Experience managing small teams and multiple stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Experience collaborating with senior-level executives.
Passion for nature, conservation, and environmental issues preferred.
