Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with local, state, and central government authorities such as the Development Authority, Municipal Corporation, Town Planning Department, RERA, Fire Department, Electricity Board, Pollution Control Board, Airport Authority, and Revenue Departments for obtaining necessary project approvals.
  • Coordinate for building plan sanctions, land conversion, zoning, layout approvals, environmental clearances, and occupancy/completion certificates.
  • Prepare, compile, and submit required applications, drawings, and documents to relevant departments.
  • Maintain updated records of all licenses, permissions, and renewals.
  • Track and follow up on applications to ensure approvals are granted within stipulated timelines.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key officials and stakeholders in various departments.
  • Keep management informed of policy updates, regulatory changes, or government notifications affecting real estate development.
  • Coordinate with internal teams — Architecture, Engineering, Legal, and Project Management — for documentation and compliance support.
  • Represent the company in official meetings, site inspections, and hearings with government authorities.
  • Ensure RERA compliance, documentation for title clearance, and other statutory filings as required.
  • Support the senior management in strategic planning for upcoming projects from a regulatory and approval standpoint.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (preferred: Law, Public Administration, or Civil Engineering).
  • Experience: 5–12 years of liaisoning experience in the real estate, construction, or infrastructure industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of state and municipal building bye-laws, RERA norms, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong networking and communication skills with ability to interact effectively with government officials.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, documentation, and report generation.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for government follow-ups and site coordination
