About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including but not limited to accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
2. Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently and accurately.
3. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses as required.
4. Manage and reconcile bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
5. Handle data entry and maintain organized financial documentation.
6. Proficiently utilize Tally accounting software for data entry, report generation, and financial analysis, including the processing of billing and vouchers.
7. Prepare and process billing accurately and promptly.
8. Generate and manage payment vouchers and general vouchers.
9. Assist with tax-related documentation and compliance, including knowledge of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and GST (Goods and Services Tax).
10. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
11. Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
12. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
