Job Summary:

Kingaru Digital is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with 1.5+ years of experience in building and managing websites on WordPress and Shopify. The ideal candidate will have expertise in theme customisation, plugin development, and e-commerce site optimisation. 

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and optimise websites using WordPress and Shopify. 

2. Customise themes, templates, and plugins to meet business requirements. 

3. Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and optimised for speed. 

4. Implement SEO best practices and web accessibility standards. 

5. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and errors promptly. 

6. Manage website migrations, backups, and updates. 

7. Work closely with the design and marketing teams to align web content with business goals. 

8. Monitor website performance and recommend improvements.  

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field 

2. 1.5+ years of experience in WordPress and Shopify development 

3. Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP 

4. Experience in theme and plugin customisation 

5. Good understanding of SEO and performance optimisation 

6. Excellent troubleshooting and attention to detail 

7. Ability to work effectively within a team  

Preferred Skills:

1. Familiarity with Shopify Liquid 

2. Experience with API integrations and payment gateways 

3. Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and tracking tools
