Job Description:
Role Responsibilities -
- As DevOps Engineer Specialist your focus will be facilitated teamwork between software development and IT operations teams to streamline software delivery and infrastructure changes.
- Key responsibilities encompass process automation, infrastructure management through code, and the establishment of continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- The crucial proficiencies include automation tools, cloud services, software development practices, and system administration techniques, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of modern IT environments.
- Besides working closely with your colleagues in Mumbai you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
We expect you to have: (Minimum Qualifications)
- At least 5-7 years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
- AWS experience.
- Terraform expertise.
- CI/CD pipeline experience.
- Containers expertise (Docker and Kubernetes).
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, Python, etc.,
- Proficiency with Linux commands and utilities including Bash scripting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills that enable you to troubleshoot and resolve sophisticated issues.
- Good communication and collaboration skills that enable you to work well with developers, stakeholders, and users.
- Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends that help you improve your skills and knowledge.
- Creativity and innovation in creating solutions that meet user needs and expectations and deliver value to the business.
- Attention to detail and quality assurance that ensure your software products are of high quality and meet the standards and requirements.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and cope with changing priorities and deadlines.
- A curiosity for the financial industry, with an interest in learning about the markets, products, and services that Nasdaq offers.
- Education Qualification: Degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
It Would Be Great If You (Preferred Qualifications)
- SaaS experience
- Understanding of Data Lakes and Data Warehousing
- Familiarity with big data tools and technologies
- SQL, Kotlin, RESTful APIs, and Spring knowledge
