Job Description:
Overview
This role involves assembling and wiring electrical control panels and enclosures, ensuring precise and organized installation of various electrical components. The position supports the implementation of electrical systems by following engineering drawings and wiring diagrams to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire control panels, junction boxes, and electrical enclosures according to engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Mount electrical components such as MCCBs, relays, contactors, PLCs, VFDs, meters, and terminal blocks accurately.
- Ensure neat and accurate wiring layout with proper labeling and adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with installation and wiring of electrical components including PLCs and VFDs.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices for wiring and panel assembly.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical control systems.
- Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers and automation systems.
- Experience using hand and power tools for electrical assembly work.
