Job Description:
Job Responsibilites
- Lead and own the complete migration of applications to AWS, including planning and end-to-end execution.
- Collaborate with architects to design the best migration strategy into Amazon EKS.
- Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, assigning tasks and ensuring high-quality delivery.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, focusing on security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Integrate SonarQube, code analysis, and artifact management (Nexus/Artifactory) into pipelines.
- Design, manage, and optimize Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments across environments.
- Ensure secure AWS access using IAM roles, least-privilege principles, and workload identity.
- Perform data migrations across S3, PostgreSQL, and other data stores with minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot complex issues in containers, AWS infrastructure, and Kubernetes clusters.
- Manage routing, ingress, reverse proxies, and load balancing using NGINX and Kubernetes.
Required Technical Skills
- CI/CD: Jenkins DSL, SonarQube, Nexus/Artifactory, Git, scripting in Shell & Python.
- Containers & K8s: Docker (multi-stage, non-root), Kubernetes RBAC, Helm, DNS, services, ingress.
- AWS Cloud: EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, Secrets Manager, Route 53, WAF, KMS, RDS, VPC, Load Balancers.
- Networking: Subnets, SGs, NAT, TLS/SSL, certificates, DNS routing.
- PostgreSQL: Backups (pg_dump/pg_restore), RDS knowledge, user management.
- Security & Architecture
- Apply OWASP, cloud security best practices, certificate lifecycle management, and RBAC principles.
- Implement secure deployment patterns, encrypted storage, and compliant access control.
Candidate Expectations
- Ability to explain best practices in CI/CD and secure AWS integrations.
- Strong debugging skills for containers, Kubernetes, networking, and AWS services.
- Experience designing scalable Helm charts and Kubernetes access structures.
- Capable of demonstrating advanced Bash/Python scripting and data processing.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS DevOps Engineer certification or similar.
- Experience in FinTech/SaaS or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of cost optimization, Agile, ITIL, or ISO 20000 frameworks.
