Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Build & Engineering: Develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality infrastructure solutions aligned with business and performance requirements. Select and implement appropriate technologies to ensure reliability, availability, scalability, and ease of use.
Incident Management: Continuously monitor infrastructure and system performance to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues. Use data to reduce mean time to resolution and maintain operational stability.
Automation: Implement scripts, pipelines, and automated processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual work, using strong Python skills and DevOps practices.
Security: Apply secure configurations, cloud and network security best practices, and protective measures against vulnerabilities, cyber threats, and unauthorized access across hardware, software, and data.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, product managers, and engineering teams to define requirements, integrate solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on modern technologies, cloud trends, and engineering innovations, contributing to internal technical communities and fostering a culture of growth.
Technical Skills Required:
Strong expertise in Python (coding, testing, deployment).
Deep understanding of enterprise design principles for secure and fault-tolerant systems.
Experience with AWS (configuration, deployment, troubleshooting); knowledge of Azure/GCP is a plus.
Ability to diagnose root causes in distributed, high-traffic environments.
Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab), automation, monitoring, and cloud ops tools.
Understanding of cloud, network, and API security best practices.
Highly Valued Additional Skills
AWS Developer or Solutions Architect certifications (or equivalent).
Declarative pipelines in Jenkins/GitLab, intermediate SQL, and technical documentation.
Understanding of OS concepts, TCP/IP, load balancing, and routing.
Experience with Agile/Kanban, TDD/BDD, test automation, release and change management.
Exposure to configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Terraform.
